| About Us Company History and Mission Statement Coastal Roofing Co., Inc. was established in 1986 by Jimmy Pelham who had previously been employed with Pelham Roofing for twenty-six years. Richard Ryan joined the company as a partner in 1988 after working for Johns Manville for nine years. After Pelham retired in 2002, Heyward Davis, who spent ten years with ABC Supply, came to Coastal Roofing as Vice- President. Founded on the basic philosophy that “a great roof at a fair price is essential,” Coastal Roofing strives to ensure that this goal is carried out with every job done. We hold an unlimited general contractor’s license with the State of South Carolina and are licensed in Florida. With four Built-Up crews, two Single Ply crews, two Metal crews, and a Slate crew, we are capable of handling all of your roofing needs. We also can provide payment and performance bonds. With an emphasis on safety and the well-being of our employees, we carry all applicable workers compensation and general liability insurance. Coastal Roofing is a member of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, Charleston Contractor’s Association, and the Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (CRSMCA).
